suicide We studied 377
alcohol-dependent patients
in our clinics. Their alcohol-
use histories were
assessed through
interviews. The Suicidal
Behaviors Questionnaire,
the Childhood Trauma
Questionnaire, the
Michigan Alcoholism
Screening Test and the
Hamilton Depression Rating
Scale were administered to
all patients. 23.6% of all
patients had histories
