To Know Oneself

To get to know oneself is truly a revelation.

The light that the suggested program of Al-Anon casts for those who are prepared to accept and apply, has to be experienced to even be partly understood.

It is so embracing and stimulating once one, in faith, sets about cleaning out the corrosive elements that lurk in the mind resulting in the inflow of fresh wholesome thinking. Such a transformation makes one truly grateful and joyful.

Amazingly, then we begin to realize the vital part our attitudes play in deciding whether we are stable or unstable, happy or unhappy and so on.

As a member of Al-Anon, I know the true value of the Day to Day Program, the Suggested 12 Steps’ and the Slogans’ to mention but a few of its tools.

The fellowship, I could write of endlessly, I personally thank God for Al-Anon and thank Al-Anon for helping to bring me to more intimate terms with God,
